A smile can give someone the confidence and self-esteem to excel in life. This is what I love about being an orthodontist—it allows me to positively impact people’s lives. I approach each day with great enthusiasm and I’m thankful to have a career that I’m passionate about.
As an orthodontist in Pahrump and Las Vegas, I spend my days improving the lives of people who’ve become my friends. It’s rewarding to use my technical knowledge, education and experience to improve the smiles, and lives of others.
Equally as rewarding are the relationships and friendships that develop between my patients and me. I enjoy caring for and getting to know each person, learning about their life, family, and interests, and becoming part of their life. When a patient arrives excited to tell me their latest news, I’m all smiles. I love that they choose to include me in their world and see me as more than just a healthcare provider.
After practicing orthodontics for more than 20 years, I have no doubt this is the right profession for me. I chose the field because of the high level of enjoyment that’s found in providing a service that makes a significant, positive difference in people’s lives.

Each year I take multiple continuing education courses locally, regionally, and nationally. I aim to stay at the leading-edge of orthodontics in order to deliver the highest quality of care and treatment options to my patients.
Whether I’m participating in a hands-on lecture, a round-table discussion, listening to a speaker, or reading the latest published findings, I’m constantly learning about changes in orthodontics
IN THE COMMUNITY
I am actively involved with the Boy Scouts of America and support the music, drama, and sports departments of our local schools. I think the youth in our area are amazing, and believe their future is bright.
PERSONAL LIFE
I grew up in Brigham City, Utah. For almost ten years, Las Vegas has been home to my family, including my amazing wife and five great kids. We also have a desert tortoise, Nacho, who has adopted us and likes to hang out in our backyard.
Spending quality time together and hanging out with my family is always my choice when I’m away from the practice. We enjoy the great outdoors, exploring Mt. Charleston, Red Rock, and Lake Mead.
Dr. Gardner welcomes patients from Pahrump, North Las Vegas, Henderson, Centennial Hills, Summerlin, Las Vegas and neighboring communities.
